NEW MODERN PROFILE RANGE
We specialize in the manufacturing, supply and installation of skirting boards . We have a wide range of skirting profiles. We manufacture our skirting mouldings in various sizes and in various materials. We stock Hardwood, Pine and Supawood also known as MDF (medium density fiber board). We supply skirtings to most of Gauteng. Please give us a chance to quote you on supply, installation or both. Skirtings have become a very important factor when renovating or building a new house. Many interior designers believe that skirting is one of the most impressive finishes that go through the whole house. It complements the floor covering no matter what type of floor you choose. From wall to wall carpeting to laminate flooring. You don’t have to go for Hardwood skirtings just because someone said so! There are many options available that looks great once painted or stained like pine. In most cases if pine gets stained dark it is hard to tell the difference. Also if you want to paint your skirting, pine gives a very smooth finish.
Please note that Hardwood means that it is a hardwood that has the same characteristics in terms of grain and look as Meranti and once stained with Silkwood's Golden brown or darker will give the same look as Meranti. We discontinued the use of Meranti due to the high difference in colour and the varying quality that was supplied from the importers. Our Hardwood is a selected timber with a superb finish and a much more constant colour. If you still require Meranti we can source it for you depending on your volume and required size.
