 Vinyl flooring is resilient and it will last for years. If laid correctly, it will only require the minimum amount of maintenance.

It is a great option for heavy traffic areas, as it is hard-wearing & stain-resistant. Quality vinyl flooring can last for up to 20 years. One of the most distinguishing features of vinyl flooring is that it is completely waterproof. This makes it the ideal option for bathrooms, covered patios and kitchens. Compared to tiles, genuine timber & laminate flooring, vinyl flooring is softer underfoot as it has more give due to a layer of foam or felt backing. This makes it more comfortable to stand on.  The resilience of the floor also means that it is quieter than many other hard floor surfaces. One of vinyl flooring’s most popular traits is how hygienic it is and how easy it is to clean. The floors are water-resistant and have few seams, so there are few places for bacteria to hide and grow. The seams themselves are also sealed so that bacteria cannot get in. Also, since the flooring is resilient, you can sanitise it using disinfectants and other chemicals without risk of damage, which is a great option for allergy sufferers.
